As the TikTok ban looms over the heads of millions of content creators and users, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares has filed suit against the video app and its parent company, Bytedance, alleging the app was designed specifically to be addictive and the companies deceived parents by claiming the content was suitable for children above the age of 12.
